Is my Windows 98 system secure with Internet Explorer 5.5? No ...
I assume that means computers still running Win98 & IE5.5 are secure. The latest updates that came out this week don't seem to offer any updates for Windows 98 or IE5.5. Does that mean the new vulnerabilities found in the latest Critical updates do not affect Win98 or IE5.5 and only the later OSs & Browsers?

Hi, I had to reinstall windows about week ago and now when I look for new updates WSAD always tells me there are two new updates ...same 5.0.0.2 fixes. And now when saw in this (?) group that two new fixes are available, but because my WSAD only wants to install same 5.0.0.2 patches I can't find anything else.

You can't include the time before then because they were just working on new updates for prevous version. If that didn't work create a dupe of your machine***, install the update and VB's update, create a new package, restore the test machine to its original If IE 5 is installed on that machine it works perfectly. The SUS server synchs are okay, the client (w2k sp3 - IE6 Sp1) receives the updates and installs with no problems, but the client reboots after 5 mins.. even if the of the following updates, the computer will restarted in five minutes. Until this computer has been restarted, Windows cannot search for new updates.
